根據該基金會的統計顯示，主板上市公司於去年捐款總額按年增長24.06%，至127.65億元；有參與捐款的上市公司數目按年增14.27%，至881間。當中恒大地產（03333）以17.98億港元的捐款總額，由2015年的第7名，躍升為去年捐款排名榜首；2015年位居榜首的控（00005）退居第二位，捐款總額為10.62億元；中國神華（01088）則以8.84億元的捐款額奪得第三名。「股王」（00700）排名雖下降一位，至第五位，但捐款金額較上年增加13.55%。
 
數據顯示，主板上市公司捐款前10名的每年平均捐款金額不斷上升，2016年平均增至6.92億元，較2015年增加19.72%。現時前10名捐款總金額佔主板捐款比例維持在50%以上，反映主板公司的前10名捐款公司對慈善事業深表關注，願意作出更大貢獻。
 
另外，捐款總額亦以行業劃分，當中捐款額最多的行業首位是地產，其次是銀行。企業慈善捐款基金會創辦人之一葉建剛透露，建立上市公司捐款數據平台是期望企業互相學習及仿效，以推動企業行善。

 恒大（3333）主席許家印啱啱做咗胡潤百富榜中國首富，原來佢連捐錢都係第一。企業慈善捐款基金會噚日公佈2016年「香港上市公司捐款排名」，排第一嘅恒大舊年捐咗17.98億，佔集團利潤9.13%。

基金會數據顯示，2016年一共有881間主版上市公司捐錢，共捐出127.65億元。以地產與銀行企業捐得最多。排名方面，恒大排第一，其他捐錢最多嘅公司，排名先後係滙控（005）捐10.62億、中國神華（1088）捐8.84億、嘉能可（805）捐6.51億同騰訊（700）捐6.37億。

基金會聯合創始人葉建剛話，雖然舊年主板公司捐多咗錢，但仲有48%公司冇捐錢。佢希望呢個捐款排名可以畀上市公司參考同行捐款額，做多啲慈善，關注多啲社會企業責任。

企業慈善捐款基金會分析員郭江雪分析，去年捐款的上市公司數目按年增14.27%至881間，總金額按年增24.06%至127.65億元。
 
另外，平均每間上市公司捐款額由過去3年平均每年600萬元，增加至750萬元，平均捐款額及平均捐款佔公司利潤的比例亦有上升，反映大部分公司對慈善事業更關注，願意作出更大貢獻。
 
不過，2016年覆蓋的1,702間上市公司中，有815間並無捐款，佔近一半，她表示，若這些公司參與捐款，相信對慈善事業的幫助更大。若以行業劃分，總捐款總額最多的行業為地產，其次為銀行。
 
企業慈善捐款基金會創辦人之一葉建剛稱，建立上市公司捐款數據平台，是期望企業互相學習及模仿，推動企業捐款。
 
他表示，基金會的分析員透過上市公司年報收集公司捐款數據，當發現金額佔公司盈利比例過大、與「往績」不相符等情況，亦會向公司查詢。

恒大（3333）主席許家印近日成為胡潤百富榜中國首富，原來恒大在香港主板公司中，去年捐款額亦排第一。企業慈善捐款基金會公布2016年「香港上市公司捐款排名」，排第一的恒大去年捐款總額17.98億元，佔集團利潤9.13%。而881間有捐款的上市公司，去年共捐出了127.65億元，其中14%為恒大捐款。
 
除恒大外，捐款最多排名為滙控（005）及中國神華（1088）、嘉能可（805）及騰訊（700）。平均每間主板上市公司捐款額750萬元，當中以地產及銀行業捐款最多。
 
企業慈善捐款基金會創始人葉建剛表示，雖然去年主板公司捐款額上升，但仍有48%公司未有捐款。他希望捐款排名能讓上市公司作為捐款指標，更關注社會企業責任。

Developer gives HK$1.8b to charitable causes amid rise in donations by HK-listed companies
 
Property firm China Evergrande Group became the most charitable of Hong Kong's listed companies last year, beating out the previous year's top donor HSBC Holdings, according to a report released yesterday.
 
Evergrande, whose chairman Hui Ka-yan was named the richest man on the mainland yesterday by the Hurun Report, gave HK$1.8 billion to charitable causes last year, according to a separate report by the Sodata Analytics Foundation Association, which tracks donations by companies listed on the main board in Hong Kong. HSBC gave HK$1.06 billion.
 
State-owned coal miner China Shenhua Energy was the third-most generous, giving HK$884 million.
 
The Sodata report also showed an overall rise in philanthropic activity by the companies, with donations made by them up 24 per cent to HK$12.8 billion.
 
"The increase in giving took place even though Hong Kong's economic activity and the profitability of listed companies slowed last year," said Michael Yip, one of the founders of Sodata.
 
Yip said the donations were given to a range of charities but focused particularly on education and disaster relief activities.
 
Sodata relies on companies' own disclosures in annual reports to compile the data.
 
According to Evergrande's annual report, the developer gave to education foundations in both China and overseas, as well as donating funds for poverty alleviation.
 
The report also found that 48 per cent of the listed firms made no donations while 21 per cent gave less than HK$500,000. Of the total amount given, more than half was donated by the 10 most generous companies, with smaller companies lagging behind.
 
"We hope that by sharing the data about charitable giving more widely, we will nudge other companies to match the donations given by their competitors," Yip said.
 
Meanwhile, Hong Kong companies are becoming better at disclosing information about the environmental and societal impact of their activities.
 
A recent survey by BDO found that most Hong Kong-listed companies went beyond meeting the minimum environment, social and governance disclosure requirements, though the accounting firm said more still needed to be done.

Property firm China Evergrande was the most charitable of Hong Kong’s listed companies in 2016, beating out the previous year’s top donor HSBC, according to a report on Thursday, which also showed an overall rise in philanthropic activity by listed firms.
 
Evergrande, whose chairman Xu Jiayin was named on Thursday as China’s richest man by the Hurun report, donated HK$1.8 billion (US$230 million) to charitable causes in 2016, according to the Sodata Analytics Foundation Association, a body which tracks donations by all listed main board companies in Hong Kong. HSBC, which had donated the most in 2015, gave HK$1.06 billion last year.
 
In all, Hong Kong companies listed on the exchange’s main board donated HK$12.8 billion in 2016, an increase of 24 per cent from the previous year.
